Do not use Infinity Ads

I was looking for a good ad network to put a 'Pop-Under' ad on my website. The first one that comes up under a Google search is Infinity Ads so I thought I would give them a try.

I signed up and pasted the required code into my site on a not very popular page just to test.

What i got was some prompt asking me to install an Add-on and then the ads displayed as a pop up rather than a pop under.

When I contacted their customer service, they told me that it was not their ads that were causing the prompt to install an Add-on and that when he went to my site the ad was appearing as a pop-under. I decided to test on other computers (3 in total), on every single one I was prompted to install an Add-on AND the add appeared as a Pop-up in front of my content. Then when I removed their code from my page, I no longer got the Pop-up appearing, or the prompt to install the Add-on.

When I explained this to the customer service guy, he did not care, he was adament that it was not their code that was causing the Add-on prompt, and that the pop-up cannot be displaying in front of the page because they don't do pop-ups. He basically acused me of lying! The stupidest thing was that the pop-up even said 'Ads by Infinity Ads' in the title bar.

Go to my site and click on the links page and see if you get prompted for the add-on and see if you get a pop-up ad or a pop-under ad. (explorethemed.com/links.asp).

This company seems to be new and yet they were totally unwilling to accept that there may be a problem with their code, instead of trying to work out what the problem was, they just blatantly refused to acknowledge that there was a problem.

Has anybody out there had any better experiences with companies that provide Pop-Unders? Who can you recommend?

I was just about to create a post about this network. Hope you don't mind if I just post my thoughts here instead. :)

Since adding the ad code on 2 of my blogs they have both been flagged as unsafe.

So far I have received emails from 15 different people complaining of things downloading onto their computer from the pop under ads.

I have contacted their customer support but have received no reply as of yet. I'm going to remove their code and search for a better network.

They work great for me. You may want to keep in mind that sometimes the popunder appears as a popup, and sometimes a popunder, depending on your browser. Also to TonyLoco23 you may want to incude a picture, proving that it does sometimes appear as a popup.

I would recommend creating a list of what you consider as bad pop under / up ads. Copy all the links into an sheet and email it to them.

But I would not use an ad network if they are unwilling to investigate your claims. An ad network should provide you with the best possible customer service.

    Thanks for bringing this up!

Just realized this was a post from 2010 and the previous poster was merely bumping it up. Urgh! :(

whats there to investigate infinity opens on top of website and visitor cannot access your website unless they close infinity pop and that's how their network works we all know this and if they do not want accept that that means they are misguiding their publisher
