Do NOT submit using the following methods!

I tried LazySEO auto-submit software some time ago and it just passes image verification, I made 300 submissions on 10 minutes and had higher than 50% acceptance rate, don’t know the exact number, because loot of directories don’t send the approval e-mail, but I received more than 150 acceptance e-mails so I presume the acceptance ratio was loot higher. So I think is possible to do automatic submissions effectively.
What I did:
- Simple title not stuffed with words
- Description between 100 and 200 characters
- Valid e-mail
and no problems.
I get some spam on my directory, the last trend is not paying featured listings it’s all really annoying.

 

The featured one's that we receive who do not complete the payment process, the best way to deal with these is issue a money request via PayPal, they either pay up or you can make sure that you put them on your site blacklist

 

They are really spam like “Russian virgin girls” with no description and auto submited to top category just trash them.

 

OK I now understand spam are trying to list as featured as you say just trash them

To anyone thinking of using auto-submitter software, JUST SAY NO! I still can't believe so many intelligent DP members use this kind of crap, and some even OWN auto-submission websites.

Check out the the second post. This guys website (here) should be reviewed by all directory owners. I am not suprised to find one of mine on page 3 of his friggin' spam list.

I wonder what the website owner gets out of this FREE service. You think he maybe collects email addresses to spam the users?

 

I think that this person is spamming to some of my directories as well, and look at that, he created a MFA Directory for all the crap out there that could'nt get listed.

Now whats the point in creating a MFA directory? I received it as a submissions to thesquat recently and i made a screenshot for my article "Top 10 Dumb Submitters Award". How can he thinks he will get listed by all the free web directories out there, if he paid for a submissions i wouldn't even list his sites.

SAY NO to submission softwares in order to keep the web CLEAN.

To have your sites eliminated from this submission site.
Maybe send him an email or pm and tell him to remove at once, or face some sort of action.
Like reporting him to his host for stealing your site?

I think his list is pretty new,
I think he copied the list of Dan from vilesilencer, then added some other sites, ones that got recently launched such as my TheSquat (1 week old).

I also got his real IP which is: 222.252.111.171, if you guys using PHPLD You got to ban this IP

So one by one your point:
- I'm sorry if you don't want your directories being in our list. I remove it imediately per your request. The list is collected by mine and our users.
To PortProphecy: your directory was suggested by our user, but it is not compatible with our tool, check compatible column at directory list. Sure that you don't receive any submission from our tool.
- Our tool offers quality SEMI-AUTOMATIC submissions. The users has confirm category for each directory. We don't spam your directory, we only help people save the time. Hope that some our users will make some words here.
- To PortProphecy's comment that we offer FREE service to collect email list to spam. Sorry, ask our users if we sent them some spam email. And do you known why is free? because it is new and it is very difficult to convince someone to buy it.
- I know how to bypass the image verification/submission restrictions of your directory, but I didn't add this to our tool, because it's not ethical I throught. I would like to say how to do it here, but I don't think it's right place. May be I will try contact directory script developer.

I understand your fillings, but try to think as submitters: submission is really uninspired work and takes a lot of time.

I promise to remove the directory list ASAP.

Yes, remove it. I want nothing to do with your spam list. But, it's not just my directory you should take off your list, but anyone who has not given you permission to spam their sites. You are menace to the Internet community.

It should take alot of time to do it right. Being lazy is no excuse to spam.

I have three sites only. It is not worth time to ban me. I have ADSL line, the IP changes every day. It is better to ban all Vietnam IP.

MFA = Made For Adsense which means the site have no purpose in entertaining, inform or teach visitors. So whats your definition of a MFA site?

 

Sites submitted that are not ready.

Reviewing a lot of sites submitted to my directories, I get a lot that have a main page, and that is it!

No contact, no about us, not one inner page is ready. All blank or have a default line that says "this is where you put blah blah blah".

And those pesky redirects!
Just had about 5 submitted to one directory.

Now I look at the emails used more closely.
That gives a good clue as to using a manual submitter who uses their own email.
I mean, come on, how can a site about Ireland, a site about houses in Manitoba be owned by the same person?

Sorry, I just got through reviewing about 180 submitted sites and had to rant a bit.

If you have a lot of sub categories it is easy to spot the auto submits because they are not appropriately categorized at all.


My funiest example is my new deep links directory. It only accepts internal links and its plastered all over the site. I am getting 50%-70% homepage links. Obviously auto submitted. The only good thing is that I can delete the homepage links in my sleep (they are easy to spot, except for the domain name with 9 words in it).

 

Thats original, and in your case i guess it must be pretty frustrating, while all of us are striving to have quality homepage submissions, you you want to have quality deeplinks submissions!!! Lol thats pretty weird, i'd be so pissed off if i were you...
Anyway this is another example of nobody's reading the guideline on a directory.

 

I hear you. I recently solicited submissions for my medical firectory and got mostly gambling, adult and warex sites it seemed like. I had to spend a lot of time deleting.
