IE caused me a lot of troubles. Mostly with worms, exploits, etc. I think it will take time for this produc to become more secure and stable.
I think it's funny when people complain about BETA products . Tell Microsoft about your problems, it's the whole ******* point!
the time to install any microsoft product, whether browser, operating system or whatever, is as they release the next version. The new version will of course be terrible, but MS will generally have sorted all the bugs and issues out with the last one and it'll be at it's most stable, about the time they release the latest version and do their public-testing on us with it for the next 2 or 3 years. one version behind works fine
There is a reason its called IE8 BETA. My question is, Are you a beta tester? Why install a beta version on production PC? You are the one to blame for it.
Dont blame the browser blame the people who are still designing websites with the same coding techniques of 10-15 years ago. If more web developers would have actually started coding sites the right way insead of saying they dont see the point problems wlike this will not arise. To many web developers even now still use tables for page layout and still dont use CSS as means of styling the page. All those who said whats the point in W3C standards and validating your site well this is it, if you dont design your site properly and dont use correct coding technquies your going to come accross problems when times move on and browsers are designed to read only corectly coded pages properly. Firefox has the exact same problem even though your all saying you use firefox and its so brilliant (Which it is) but there are many sites which dont work correctly in Firefox and some of the features wich dont work are important ones.
stay away from Micro$oft and their evil empire.. hahaha... just kidding.. though no surprise and M$ product is buggy
you shouldn't be mad while testing the beta version and as per me firefox has always been the first option, it's what called a perfect browser and i do use IE 7 & firefox for development purposes.
The issue is, the codebase was taken on by Microsoft and named Internet Explorer in 1995 making it 13 years old. Originally it was kicked off as Mosaic in 1987 which was 21 years ago. Now if one of the richest men on the planet with more financial and technological backing than you can poke a stick at, can't release a Beta product that's got 21 years of development behind it without being full of bugs and holes it really speaks volumes about the product. No wonder they are loosing market share by the day.
