Do Not Host With Hetrixbyte!

I just wanted to warn everyone about how terrible HetrixByte is and I am sure to have some who agree with HetrixByte in this case but when you think about it, they're cheating customers.

Okay, so back on August 2, 2008 ... HetrixByte suspended my hosting account because at the time I was low on money and didn't have the sufficient funds then to pay the July 28-August 28 bill. So I just left it alone and they put up a "SUSPENDED" account page. Well, a couple days ago (August 23rd) ... I paid the $8.95 for the August 28-September 28 with hopes that since I paid it early that the days from July 28-August 2 and August 23-August 27 would be PRORATED and charged to me.

    NNNNNOOOOOOO!!!!!

They screw me over by saying that I still owe $8.95 for August 28-September 28 and the $8.95 (Actually $9.40 with their SMALL late charge added in) was for July 28-August 28. ALTHOUGH, a majority of that time my site was down with a suspended page.

Yeah sure, they still had my filed on their servers and shyt and have to pay for their servers, but what am I getting by having all my visitors see a "suspended" page. I thought the purpose of paying for hosting was to have a website online, not have your visitors see a "SUSPENDED" page. I mean, for God's sake, wouldn't it make more sense to prorate me for the July 28-August 28 (for what time my site WAS ONLINE) and take the $8.95 I just paid them for August 28-September 28.

And the support guy is a dickhead! He lacks any customer support character and who knows how the fuck he was hired. He really does suck to be honest!

Anyway, the point I am getting at is that HetrixByte sucks and I will definitely be moving on to another host. Sure $8.95 is cheap but it doesn't matter how cheap it is when a host decides they want to rip you off of money. Here's an example: You walk into Burger King and get a combo meal. You pay for the entire meal and instead of getting the entire meal, you get just the fries. Wouldn't you want either some credit or your bill to be prorated for just the fries?

Doesn't make sense if you ask me! And to think the guy compared the hosting billing to a phone service, you pay even when your phone is turned off! Bullshyt again, I have Sprint service and they charged me one month for when I had my phone turned off. Did they leave the bill intact, no, they removed the month I had no service off of my bill!

HETRIXBYTE IS TERRIBLE! Until the owner comes forward and can actually show some care about their customers, they suck, period! And I will be moving hosting companies.

So if your a true hosting company with some reputation that HetrixByte does NOT have then feel free to contact me. I am a loyal customer and have always paid my bills except I fell behind this month and now they act like they don't give a damn about me!

I guess what I am saying is: I NEED A NEW HOSTING COMPANY... SEND ME A PM!

Failure to pay your invoices on time will result in service interruption.

To avoid this, be sure to have your invoices paid on time. Even when suspended, you're still consuming resources.

If you wanted to end the billing cycle, you should have canceled service with us.

For more information regarding our payment terms, please visit our Terms of Service page @ http://hetrixbyte.com/tos.html

^^ Your not getting the point, if I was suspended, why would you keep me on your servers? I mean, common sense would say to take me off the server! Are you not getting this.

Bottom line, your hosting sucks, period! I didn't cancel because I didn't plan to leave, I even shot you numerous emails in hopes of getting a hold of someone to discuss a possible arrangement but that added insult to injury on how terrible your support was! In essence, nobody ever got back to me.

I'm done with you, your hosting sucks, you know it, everyone else knows it and therefore nothing more needs to be said. Maybe you need to revamp your entire hosting establishment as its all LOW in character, support and God knows financial. Whether I was consuming resources or not, I was NOT consuming your bandwidth was I... hmmmmmm. I was only using no more then 55MB-75MB of space which is minimal still so I'm basically paying for you to operate your servers to others. Your hosting SSSUUUCCCCKKKKSSSS! And trust me, I got plenty of other places to go, even a friend who just purchase a "box" has offered me hosting that is way better then what the hell you offer!

If you had of contacted us via the departments available to you in the client area, you would have received a response.

Generally, we are opted to providing a service extension to our clients, and in most cases without additional charges aside from the original package charge. It is not our job to cancel your service, it is your own.

You will find most providers issue charges the same, or very similar.

Good luck with your new provider.

DUH! How the f*** else do you think I would've gotten a hold of you! Your hardly ever on the chat whenever I get on there during the daytime hours and oh, by the way, if I remember right when I did put the ticket in it said it went through. It was ya'll responsibility to get it, whether you did or not IDK but at the time your hosting was actually up and down like a roller coaster!

Bullshyt, if you were serious about keeping your customers, you'd be trying to help resolve things and take a REAL client like me up on their offer. Its not every day you see a customer wanting to work things out with the host! I offered to pay the $8.95 for the August to September month and then ya'll can just prorate me the terms that my site was online.

When my site is offline, I'm not getting shyt! Why would I want to pay the $8.95 for a month of service that showed "Suspended." I tell you what, take my example: Walk into McDonalds, purchase a combo and pay $1 for the combo, I bet you'd be doing the same thing your doing to me, RIPPING THEM OFF!

And no, your charges are bullshyt and so is your service, God knows for the time I was with your hosting at the beginning you had more issues then a female at that time of the month!

Stop wasting your time responding, I've proven my point, now you can go work to fix and resolve those issues instead of messing around and trying to get somewhere your not getting! POINT BLANK PERIOD!

until you cancel your service according to service provider's terms your service remain active & legally you have to pay for that. Your service was canceled due to lack of payment, was not terminated. So, its your fault you did not cancel the service and was charged.

^^ Back to what I said, I never intended to cancel, I was hoping to work something out but unfortunately their not-even-worth-.02-cent support wouldn't work! So back to it, it IS their fault for not having their support system or website stable. Around when I opened the ticket, they were having issues with the servers. So it IS their fault! Like I said, they're not willing to work with their customers so they're not worth the $8.95 I pay monthly for them!
