    Hi All,

This question if for one of my friend, though I think its very much possible, still I thought of taking advise of seniors.

One of mate (female) has got paypal account with her new name (after marriage changed surname),however the bank account she has got name which is before marriage.

Now since she wants to withdraw the funds, can she withdraw to her spouse/partner's bank account.

The last name/surname is same but forename will be different. Is it possible ?

    Please advise!

She should be able to add any bank account to her paypal account as long as the bank account is not already attached to an existing Paypal account. She will then need to verify the account by having paypal make 2 small deposits into it. Once it is verified she can withdraw to it. Paypal doesn't validate the name on the account, only that the paypal account holder has full access to it.

Should not be done, as it may create problems. However, she can always make a joint account with her husband and can then withdraw funds. :)

Since they are husband and wife, why not create a joint-account so that both names appears legally on the account. That way you would not face any issue.

Eddy gave one solution. But you can also add a bankaccount in the partners name, as long as surname natches there are usually no problems
