I bought a gateway about 3 months ago, 2 days ago, the boot sector dissapered, I tried to get them to send me a recovery dsk to reapir it, they tell me that i have to PAY for the disk that came pre installed. They tell me i should have created a recovery disk. I refuse to pay for the disk when i paid $720 ALREADY. It took 20min for the superviser to finally get on the phone, he didn't want to talk to me. I feel that gateway is a good pc, but there support is terrible. I do not recomend to anyone to buy there computers... they knew 3 months would pass and the computer would break,,, I am looking for a Gateway OEM recovery disk, (win vista home premium 64bit) My model number for the laptop is m-7315u I'd like to keep my legal copy of windows, SO if anyone has a recovery disk so i can stay ligit, please PM me so i can get a copy.
