Do NOT advertise here at DigitalPoint - Ripoff! Ripoff! Ripoff! They take your money and never respond to inquiries or address your problems. Don't waste your money here. Planning to sue. Anyboody else looking to sue DigitalPoint?
Considering this is your first post, did you maybe post your problem or seek support in a different forum by chance? What exactly is the issue?
Also... you aren't even an advertiser... lol You have never created an ad, nor have you paid/funded any sort of ad campaign. Should I not be confused?
@digitalpoint maybe you'll get more details when the legal paperwork comes through. Probably has another account that has been banned and that's stuffed up the advertising. FWIW What does happen to advertisers if they get banned?
Advertisers that are banned still can fully use the advertising interface to manage their ads/campaigns. The only thing they can't do is add more funds.
I think that a case could be made here for an indictment for criminal stupidity as opposed to just a civil lawsuit for defamation. Get him jailed first and then go after any funds available.
LOL - I always BELIVE ANONYMOUS reviews from members with one post LOL Awesome thread , made me laugh on a cold day hahaha
I'm actually considering to try this forum to advert! I never thought of it... but now, I think, why not!? To try. Maybe it's not good for every one... but also, there is only one way to find out!
That's a new tool for SEO and we're looking for beta testers... I now found the thread in the advertisement section and there are very many complaining people. Some complains are ... well, not so impressive, so to say! I just wonder, why don't happy people post in this section!? Oh, well. Maybe time will tell!
Advertising, in general, is always hard to measure an ROI from. Does not matter what media you are advertising in, even PPC which should be easy to measure. The problem is that humans always push the envelope of any measurement system. So, I would not be surprised that there are a lot of complaints about any advertising medium. Even the very large companies spending hundreds of millions per year on advertising have no idea what is working and what is not. A famous quote from the VP of Marketing for Lotus Notes many years ago went as follows: "I am spending $10 million per year on advertising and half of that spend is working very well. The trouble is that I do not know which half is actually working and which half is not."
Haha!! Yes, that's a good one!! Advertising is good, after all! Prices here are quite good. However, it all depends on the people either looking at the ad or go to the link. I mean, if I purchase for a few 1000's views... how many do actually care!? I guess it all depends on either the message and/or the product...
In real estate, they say that only three things really matter: location, location, and location. In advertising, in my experience, only three things matter: testing, testing, and testing. You will never know if DP will work for your specific products/services unless you try it. And you should test as many variables as you can, including sales copy, offer, etc., before you attempt to draw any conclusions.
Yes, you're right... We are currently waiting for the new release, but after that, I sure wish to try DP. After all, at this point all we are looking for are some beta testers. Some 20-30 or so... That's my curiosity! Does 1.000 views generate a beta user!? Well. Time will tell!
