People say "you need do-follow links", but in fact many users and visitors of my site sometimes post links to it in forums or even blogs. Do these links have some weight by the search engine optimization? Thanks in advance.
They don't help your page rank, but they bring traffic and that can be very relevant in the long run. Google indexing is crucial, but it's not the single aspect you should be concerned of when promoting your site.
They are counted as well, but they don't pass PR which is only one ranking factor out of 200+ on google, but you shouldn't only optimize your webpage for google
they count but dont pass pr nor ANCHOR TEXT. still, i think they are important in the way of natural link building
They pass domain authority, and the anchor text of them is less important, so it's a win win situation. Seed sites generally give you nofollow links with your URL as anchor text, but this is a good thing. An important part of your link profile for your website is the diversity in quality of links. i.e. blogs, forums, websites, articles, followed and non followed. It makes it look more natural
angeldimit, iwas trying to help you out because the guy was lying to you. But, hey, don't worry because i have now ignored you.
No follow links are not helping for increase your PR. But it can generate traffic to your site , and is good for the awareness of your brand which you are promoting. For instance in Twitter the links are no follow but it is very helpful for generating traffic..
