I was wondering if a niche blog would get better SEO than a general blog.

I wanted to make a large blog with a bunch of topics/niches in it. But now i'm not sure if I should.

    Can enlighten me on this?

The niche site would be easier to optimize. You would be dealing with less keywords. I have seen people do several niche sites that also linked to one master site as long as it is in the same field.

    I think this.

One general blog has 5 articles with food topic.

One blog which is about health and foot has over 100 articles about food

The second blog will get better SEO because there are more pages with food information and if they link to 1 general page about food, it will rank much higher.

    katsarov,
I would probably agree with that as long as the 2 topics had something in common.

both agree with you.. but there are many factors to consider.. one is the anchor text and the relative keywords in those blogs...
