This seems to be the repeated statement here... Anyone able to put a number of competition to go for? I have a couple of niche specific keywords that I'm trying to get to page 1 on, but the best i've been able to do is page 2 of these particular keywords.. Trying to get any insight that i can...
New Domaisn have a chance to stay first at google if there is less competition and keywords and your competitors.
For easy keywords it is possible, but try get page 1 for keywords like "online poker" or "online casino". It's almost impossible to accomplish in less then a year no matter how big budget you have.
Let me sum up: 1. Keywords: - This is very important to know. Are you targeting a branded keywords / generic keywords (specific to any services, solutions, products). - Considering a generic keywords then lets look at point 2. 2. Competitions - Keyword having competition is definitely tough to get on top for any new domain. But this point is valid. Google Sometime bring your site in top 10 in 2-3 week and then drop it. But there is no guarantee. Also as mentioned in this thread, the website should be well optimized, crawled by GoogleBot and other webmaster setup should be in place including indexing of all the pages. 3. Back Linking - Remember, you cannot rank your site in the first 2-3 week unless you do better back linking for a generic keywords. Even if you gain top 10 position in 2-3 week, the ranking for the generic keyword will drop and only after regular and relevant seo maintenance there is a possibility that your site will be competing for top 10 position. Remember, there is no guarantee of you being in top 10....
Every domain will place on the first position for a certain keyword(s), so it depends on which your targeted keyword and competition.
of course why not. Sure it can be possible when seo is properly done and keywords are placed properly
I have had 2 week old website show up on first page ranking for local/regional KW searches. Might be really hard with competitive KW
Yes that's possible & I do have good experience in it because I was the SEO expert/link builder for a very new site which was already in rank 1 for its keywords with the website was only 20 days old.
yes of course why not but you have to work more to get on first page at google it need more hard works and more in links from other websites tooo
Right, in my own experiences, Google would usually give those new domains a better SERP if you target right keywords and using them in building backlinks since the very beginning of your sites, especially you have your keywords in your domain names. Thanks,
It all depends on what keywords, try getting first for "yuertustrt holltilot"! Pretty sure that's easily attainable!
I have had success when getting the keyword in my domain, and for industry without much competition. Very quick.
Hi, yes, at least you have to work hard in doing SEO stuffs like article submissions, directory and social media bookmarking. We know that new sites must have gradual link building growth and don't do black hat. Content is King.
