I get alot of backlinks from forums. Does google count one backlink per domain or every page that includes my link?

why you thinking about it ? :| i mean just update your site ( content ) and do keep linkbuilding.

The main thing is that google allow to show those backlinks which should be authorized or where your link stayed atleast 6 months ( depend on also how much time google bot visiting that page also )

The answer is yes and no.
And the truth is no one knows.

    I would take pammers advise.
    Just keep working. Build more
    content, keep finding ways
    to build links.

This is a good question. Because lets say someone was linking from a site off a geocities, atwebpages, 000webhost, freewebs, blogspot server... would the link have the same amount of link juice as if it came from another kind of landing page on a server without a whole lot of subdomains?

    That I'm curious about.

I'd have to say...no. The link juice is the same. But if you go around creating pages that link to your site, it won't register in the search engines for quite a while. Whereas, if you link off an established website that is frequently updated, you will more likely have a better PR bump.

Someone needs to ask Matt Cutts this question on a future interview!
It basically answers the reason for wanting sitewide links in most cases.

Yes, they do get counted. But the trouble is we don't know how much. Some links will count for say 0.0001 - where another link will count for 1000 on the same scale. It's hardly any use to get 20 links that are each worth 0.0001 - because that only ads up to 0.002 - if your competition has 1 link that is worth 1000.

Mass links from the same c-class ip will certainly be devalued to some extent. SE's are particularly wary of links from forums signatures for example although this doesn't mean you should avoid having them. Focus on relevant links will net you great results!

They must get counted. The last time I checked they were counted by google.
