I realize that many people in everyday life cuss on occasion. Taking all cussing out of movies probably wouldn't be realistic. It might even appear funny. Imagine the drill sergeant in "Full Metal Jacket" using words like dadburnit, good grief, etc. It would have made a great comedy, but it wouldn't have been a realistic picture of Marine Corp boot camp. Isn't it possible though, that sometimes the movies industry kind of exaggerates the language used by some. As an example I would use the move "Love Actually". Overall it was a good movie, but you had to wade through so many cuss words that you eventually lost the point of the film. Another great example would be "The Squid and the Whale". Do people really use that kind of language that much? Or do I just not get out enough? BlueCowboyFilms
