I'm writing an article for people who are looking to get their first, nice website created. What advice would you give the aspiring site owner... -- Do they need to hire both a Web designer plus a separate graphic designer? -- Or do most Web designers also handle graphic design for the new site (e.g., header, logo)? What has been your experience when needing Web design services? Thanks!
In my experience and from observing other buyers on freelancing websites, in most cases web designers create both the web site structure and it's supporting graphics. So in essence, hiring a web designer means that in the end you'll receive a fully developer and usable web site to which you only need to add your supplemental content (text, video, etc.).
depands, some designers better handle logos, some the web site itself, some better with graphics, if you hire a web designer first ask if he can do all the things you need, but it's better to split the work if you know some very talented designers, each with their own skill set. but if you hire a web design company they might acomplish everything you need but i think it wont be 100%
