Do most general directories accept submissions of niche directories?

I just started a focused niche Print Directory and am wondering if most general directories will accept submission of a niche directory, or if directories generally will reject submissions of a directory to a directory?

Directories to reject other directories it's just not right to happen, unless there is something behind it, like an totally empty directory poor quality, and stuff like that. Most directories have and should have a specific sub category for Niche Directories.

Most general directories have a Niche Directories subcategory. You can find some of them listed in the search results

    easily accepted.

well, maybe because my former 9to5 many years ago since age of 10(summertime helper) was that of an offset pressman, running multis, hamadas, A.B. Dicks, hedi's, ryobis; 1,2,4,6,8 color presses as big as 18 wheelers leaves me a little biased. :p

most of the better directories out there have niche directory catergory , ive even seen niche catergory subcategoriesed even further in to arts , webmaster, etc , however , from a personal experince of submitting my own niche directory , i would say only half of the directories out there have a niche category.

I also have a category for niche at http://www.aar8.com.
Most directories I've tried have some sort of category.

I spent a ton of time building a vast category structure on my two directories only to decide to "squash" them about 2 weeks ago. I went from 600-700 categories to 116 on dadz and 142 on momz. Not sure if I overdid it and now have too few or not, but it sure makes life a lot easier for people submitting links and for the admin guy:).

As for niche directories I relocated my Directories category from deep inside to 2nd level in my 'Quick Links' top category. I also added a Niche category. Regional directories should go in th appropriate region in my International Momz or Dadz categories.

I'm open for niche and other directories. If you can't figure out my URLs based on above info send email to admin at dadz dot com. hint hint

    Cheers

Any site is welcome to my directories --:D
I have special categories for Niche Directories. Rush a PM if you are interested to actually list.
