Title tags are still Hot. That's about it, I hear what people are saying about meta descriptions. The method I do SEO it makes more sense to have the search engine deem what my site is about and rank it. Maybe a nicely written description for the front page or about us but beyond that I would rather have my on-page content stand on its own.

The title tag, and page content is where its at! Sometimes you will get put into terms you did not know and get massive traffic, just for mentioning something on your page that was off base or kilter.

Make sense! But how many words in the description is the best? 60? 100? I'm new, so thanks very much if anybody can tell me the answer.
