Do Links from Subpages influence PR?

    Hi everybody,
I have a question: if I have a website (let's call it "A"), that has a PR of 4. Now I put a link in my index.php to another website ("B"), that appears on every single page/subpage of my website A. I have >20.000 indexed pages for the website A, this means >20.000 Backlinks from A to B. 99% of my subpages on website A have a PR of 0. Now my question is:

Does this mean that website B is getting >20.000 Backlinks with PR 0 and only one with PR 4, meaning that this would be bad? Would it be better to just put 1 Link on the mainpage (because it has PR 4), and no links on the subpages (because they have PR 0)?

    Thanks in advance!

Google is smart enough to know the 20k backlinks are from the same domain and it will place less weight on the links as opposed to 20k backlinks on unique domains.

so they're not rated as PR0 links, but also not as PR4 links?

Yea same IP & C Class. It will not help dramatically to boost your Rankings. Btw. Pagerank is dead since years now! There are many new tings added like Trustrank and Domani Authority!
