Do Links from .com's Help my Rankings in Google.se

Hi,

I am currently working on a Swedish language site with a .se, I have many links from sites in my language with a .se, but if I also buy links in English on .com's is that good or bad for me.

Does a link on a .com help my rankings in google.se

It will help but not much since your site is in swedish language, mean you are losing some advantage on the content. By the way, if the visitor search in mix language (swedish & english) in one phrase, then it might help more

 

Getting links from .com or any other tlds will help you rank globally and on different search engines too. So there is absolutely no harm getting such links. Morever, you can add translate feature on your website so that your users can browse your website in other languages too.

When i post links on the English .com's i am using my Swedish keywords, EX: play poker at svenskadoodle (not one of my real keywords)Does the juice flow or is any flow minimal at best

I would think that if I am on google.se and an English .com that is relevant to my niche happens to rank then its a good place to have a link right?
