I find this feature really good. It helps me change the keyword for my search, looking at the result dished out... immediately! Regards, RightMan
i think it's cool and it's not going to hurt SEO so i dont mind it... it will just take a bit of getting used to and everyone will be cool with it. if you are worried about your marketing efforts, just remember that they took a ton of precautions and it should really change anything. search around for the specifics and make your own assumptions but this is the definitive way that Google is handling impressions which his the most immediately effected part of search because of instant in my point of view... How impressions are counted When someone searches using Google Instant, ad impressions are counted in these situations: * The user begins to type a query on Google and clicks anywhere on the page (a search result, an ad, a spell correction, a related search). * The user chooses a particular query by clicking the Search button, pressing Enter, or selecting one of the predicted queries. * The user stops typing, and the results are displayed for a minimum of three seconds hope that helps...
I prefer it over the old version, however one thing irritates me and it's the white overlay that shows during Google's screen changes during the text change routing. It reminds me of the WSOD (white screen of death) and for a split second, I think there's something wrong with my computer. I use Google Chrome, so that problem may not be prevalent on all browsers.
My traffic has increased a little from it, however, I disabled Google instant as I find it distracting. I mean seriously, how lazy does Google think we are in having the need for them to finish our phrases. Most of the time they are way off in what I'm actually looking for.
This is quick. But does it change search engine optimization? Does it really benefits those big players?
I dont like it either, i find it a bit annoying and irritating. I just disabled it and love the old UI.
