Do large retailers convert well?

Wondering if affiliate ads from WalMart and Target which have stores everywhere convert well. How do they compare with Amazon and Ebay that only sell online? Thanks.

Hi, when promoting with products from these retail stores, margins can be pretty thin. I would rather go for digital products with fat commissions, then selling for a dollar or two. Not worth the effort unless you are only running a hobbyist site and doing for fun.

I agree. But seeing their big network earnings power made me wonder why, since you would think most people would just stop by a WM or Target to buy the usual stuff. But I guess lots of people shop their websites too - just a matter of how you promote them and traffic, of course.
