Do laptops use a lot of electricity?

    May be you are also using other appliances. Laptops don't consume more electricity. Atleast less than bigger appliances like AC, refrigerator, etc.

    No laptops doesn't use much electricity. I saw the same problem with a dp member. Do search and found that topic for more information

    Laptop always use less electricity about 15-45 watts, far less than desktops.

    No. I doubt it's the laptop though it is a small, small part. You got to consider other things or smaller things adding up. Refrigerator, AC, etc. :)
