Do keywords or content have to match your domain name?

I am in the process of making a website that sells ebooks and website templates.

I have a domain name that i am not using that is carxp.com

Would that domain name work for what I am selling even though it doesn't match?

Or do you advice I go with a longer domain name like templatesebooks.com

Which would be a better choice?

    Thanks for your help!

Definitely go ahead to register a new domain for a new site,
    it's your site and business,
why bother to pay $8 for new face.

Buy another domain that have related keyword with your niche.
This will help in long term in SEO.

To be honest,carxp.com is not a good choice.Try to find another more suitable domain like the one you made example.Keyword is so important and it increase the relevancy between the domain and website. That'll be easier
    for others to remember.

Mate I would not recommend you show domain names on the public which are availible for the registration and in which you are interested in

You don't have to buy a new domain but it'll be better if you had a domain that contained your keywords in it.

They do not have to match but it would be much better if you did. You can be successful either way.
