Does anybody have experience with ISP blockers such as
    http://www.iprivacytools.com/

I am looking to purchase one and want to know if there was one better than another?

    Thanks!

It is fairly simple and most of them work.

They work in that they'll present your IP as coming from somewhere else.

Bear in mind your browser will still be sending cookies as before, so it wouldn't be too hard to discover your true identity.

What do you hope to gain by hiding your IP address?

If you're hoping to be able to click on your own ads and make some money then don't - it's easy to detect who is coming via one of these proxies.

haha no I wouldn't be clicking on my own ads...I'm trying to re-sign up for my amazon.com seller account which got cancelled ( I did not know you can not sell Academic software).

I signed up for a new bank account but somehow they linked the new amazon account I set up with the old one that got cancelled. I'm thinking that they have blocked my IP address from signing up as a sellers account. Or maybe they detected my cookies?
