Irish Coffee -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 cups strong coffee 2 tablespoons orange juice 2 teaspoons lemon juice whipped cream Mix coffee, orange juice and lemon juice Pour into Irish whiskey glass Top with whipped cream
Why are you pouring it into a Whiskey glass if there isn't any Whiskey? If someone tried to make me drink that, I would punch them in the stomach
I osunds like if I offered an Irish guest that I might be risking my life..strong coffee or not. LOL it is served in a whiskey glass..does this not count for anything? I drink my coffee with Baileys
Do you have many Irish guests? By the way, here is the real recipe: Irish Coffee -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2 cups strong whiskey 2 tablespoons coffee
I have Irish guests yes. So you sugest keeping a small watered down bottle around for infants..in case they bring some?
Where's the cream? I use to be a great fan of that drink a few years ago, but it was 3 layers. Whisky or whiskey, heated with lots of sugar in it so it would stay on the bottom, hot coffee that would be slowly poured and stay above and whipped cream on top. Then some would love mixing it altogether making the effort of serving it in perfect layers, so no teaspoons should be available!
I just spent a bunch of time watching commercials about whiskey and wishing I could make a website that could do that!
I don't want to gross you guys out, but here is what wakes me up best: Columbian Supreme Coffee add a Chi Tea teabag mix in a small bag of nestle's hot chocolate 2 French Vanilla creamers. Kicks ass!
mmmm that is what I shall make tonight. I will get some real cream for my coffee and sit on the rug in front of the fireplace. Odd how I know where to get real cream but not jameson whiskey. I wonder would a nice twenty four year old scotch do? Ardmore 12yrs Centenary has a vanilla cask. Or would a Scotch be a naughty thing to drink in an Irish coffee recipe?
