Do infringements ever go away?

    I have had an infringement (for posting in wrong category) sitting on my user CP for ages! Do they expire? I think it would be pretty sucky if they stayed forever 'cause everybody is bound to make a mistake once in a while....

    Opinions? Answers?

    what does the expiration date next to the infraction say?
