I am thinking of new strategy to make for my clients, do really image optimation effective? Like in blogs and social media who accept html. Thanks in advance.
Yes.. it is effective.. I will give only one tips.. Use Alt text for every image the reason is *Search engine will not read you image but the alt text associated with it ( I am not sure about future) *Some time web-browser do not load image then only alt text will appear and visitor can know what was at this place.
Yes it is.. you can find here more about this: http://www.searchenginejournal.com/image-search-optimization/10218/
I found image search ranking to be easy with my site to rank for big keywords. The problem is that the visitors I got wasnt what you can call high quality visitors
That is because, although image optimization is important, the value that search engine bots give to alt text is NOT as high as the value given to content, Title, meta or even H1-H3 tags. So, yes it is helpful to optimize your pictures because otherwise they will not be crawled; but it does NOT have a significant effect on SERPS.
yes it is. lot of people do image search and if your image come up on the front page of image searches, you will get some additional traffic. google also displays result from image search as a part of the regular searches on google.com and if you can get your image there, you will get a LOT of traffic. so YES, it is important!
yeah, As far as Image optimization is concerned that yes, it will effect your website because search engine crawlers can't read image so this HTML tag "ALT" will help you to index in major search engines.
Yes definitely you can get a lot of traffic by adding alternative text to images. You should also do........ search catching image title Use keyword in image file name Use light compressed images those can be load easily Graphics Technology Blogging
I got some traffic from images...but that traffic has almost no value...because it rarely sees your site..they only search for the image
Optimize your images in the following ways: * Keywords in alt text, text around the image, image name, page title; * Preferred image formatting - jpg; * Separate SE accessible image folder; * Image freshness. * Enabled image search option at Google webmaster tool. * Reasonable image file size * Limited number of images per page * Popular and reliable photo sharing hosting. It is better to have the reasonable size of the images to improve the speed of the website
Absolutely - set an "Alt" tag AND a "Title" tag for your images, and it's also helpful to name the actual image with keywords. If you use multiple keywords, make sure you split them with dashes (hyphens) instead of underscores like this: this-is-correct.jpg this_is_incorrect.jpg Many search engines see hyphenated words as multiple words, but see underscores as one big mess.
I had extra time and I put a keyword "stock trading advisory guru" just to see if alt text for an image mattered. What happened was google picked it up as a keyword phrase.
I recently wrote a post about this here http://www.torontoseofirm.com/show-above-the-number-one-organic-result-for-free/
yes image optimization is essential so should be use alt , title tag and image should not be heavy then it take more time to downloading if have large size image then it should be cut in small piece all others also has given good suggestion so I hope that enough to optimize images
