I have been trying to understand what CPA is by reading information avaliable online. From my understanding CPA meaning Click Per Action, is when company pays you for an action. For example: someone enter in zip code or email address. Do you need a website in order to do such thing? How does people find out about the offer to type in there information? If a company pays you for each action, lets say $1.50. Can a person pay each person .50cents to fill out the email or zipcode and just pocket the $1.00 and rinse and repeat? How does a person get people to place their information in? Would you start a facebook page for each offer? than try to have people on facebook join the page and fill out the information? I'm really sorry for the simple questions but I am just receiving mix information all over. Thank you for everyone help in advance.
Technically your not allowed to pay people to do it. Also in order to get people to fill out the offers you need something that they REALLY want. What a lot of people do is open up a raffle site and give away a $10 amazon or something to get people to sign up. Yes you are required to have a website as you have to fill out an application to join a CPA network and if you don't have a website they will reject you. Hope this helps.
Do you need a website in order to do such thing? - Not necessary. If a company pays you for each action, lets say $1.50. Can a person pay each person .50cents to fill out the email or zipcode and just pocket the $1.00 and rinse and repeat? - Only for cash incentive offers.
Thank you mtmjohn for answering my questions. If you don't need a website to make this work, how do you get people to enter there information. Sorry for the question....i have been seeing people saying there making $1k to 2K a month with CPA and...it started to peek my interest.
The offers you get from Affiliate Networks, will have the landing page already created. All you get is the creative (banner ad) and the tracking link. Basically, your job will be to send good quality traffic to these offers and get them to convert. Usually these creatives are placed on your website. However, there are many ways to go about this without a website. You could do PPC marketing, Social marketing, the possibilities are endless! Just keep reading on DP and you will find a niche that will peak your interest even more!
Blog traffic, the blog you write should be relevant to your affiliate product. It some one is interested in it ,they will click it. Or buy some traffic on inmobi, admob, etc. Hope you make a success
You are corect CPA is Cost Per Action, and is payable on a certain action, like an email address, zip code or more, ideally you need a website as many of the affiliate networks who offer CPA from their advertisers need to check that your site complies to their terms and regulations
You can start with facebook asa good source for traffic. Many got their start building fan pages and sending traffic that way. Then scale out to paid traffic with fb ads and pof with the cash you made from your fan pages. The thing is to stay committed until you found something that works for you. But facebook is a good start.
