Do I qualify for Dmoz

I have read the guidelines and in my personal opinion I think my site is good enough to get listed, I have filled the form a few times but nothing has ever showed up.

Is there somethin wrong?

 

Kind of hard to tell, we don't know the URL of your website or category you submitted to.

Care to share a little more info?

 

I tried to submit to africa society and culture, chats and forum and I tink I could also qualify for dating.

The url is afriville.com am not sure am allowed links yet

 

When did you submit? It can take up to a year or even longer to get listed, IF you get listed.

 

Well you can always request for website review for dmoz at http://www.dmoz-resources.com/zone/ .

 

If you think site is ready to go so submit it.

But keep in mind it takes some time months and some time year to get included there.... so submit and forget.

 

I suggest you do that. Friend had a site reviewed there a while back...they offered good advice

 

Yaa the editors are friendly there, specially skunky and annie.

 

Only the DMOZ editor think your website is qualified will help your indexing by DMOZ!

 

One of my directories got qualified but later got whacked. Just don't know if its whacked for good but well I'm not interested anymore as I am doing the improvements for my directory, myself, my submitters and my viewers(if any).

Gets listed again a BIG Thanks and if NOT NO Big Deal. Life goes on.

 

Even your site is qualified, it still will takes months to be indexed. so please be patience. ^^

Yep, that is the newest method to get listed ASAP, you could also try with some doggie that is trained to role in mud before coming home so he makes a mess of the house so they'll need a professional cleaner.

 

Ha ha ha Ivan. Dirsensei is not a professional cleaner its a PROFESSIONAL WEB DIRECTORY of FAMILY FRIENDLY SITES that was listed at Family Friendly Category for 3 days before it got WHACKED.

 

it's very difficult to make a comment. dmoz will not send an e-mail when you are accepted or rejected. if you submit your site after 3 weeks from your last submission, it will not be considered as spam

 

It will also not be of any help the best possible out come is that it overwrites your old submission and slows your review time down.

how come my site isnt listed? post it few months ago, for a very small category (i think so any way...)
