I have blogspot.com blog which i pinged by 3 major ping services and it still hasn't been indexed. It's been 1 week. Am i doing something wrong? In TITLE i entered my blog's title. In URL i entered my blog's url. In RSS FEED i entered my blog's rss feed. Is there something wrong with my settings?
It sounds to me as if you did it right. Is your blog new? Sometimes it takes a while to get indexed, even if you have pinged it. If it is fairly new, just have patience. I can't see where you did anything wrong at all
It can take up to a week or 2 to be fully indexed, if you want things to go quicker don't just sit back and let Ping services do all the work. Submit your site to social bookmarking sites like digg, Mixx, Reddit, etc... these sites get crawled every couple minutes for new content so your site should pop up right away and give Google something to go through.
Patience my young jedi! It can take some time for an index to occur. Speaking of which, do you have any backlinks to your site yet? Just an idea here, a large misconception is that spiders and bots scour the web. They dont. They only scour their own index, if you arent in that index, or if someone is not linking to you in that index, then you probably will have a hard time getting indexed. Check your backlinks, check that they are not "nofollow" links, and go from there. Otherwise, just keep link building, and it will be indexed in no time. If youre worried about it, even go and submit your URL to Google to crawl. Although this is un nesecary in most cases, it never hurts.
Go to pingomatic.com and try that service also. Pingomatic pings other pinging services (many of them). That should get you indexed within a few hours at best.
The key is to get indexed by these directories as well as major search engines. Usually by pinging your blog to the top directories with a tool like BlogBuzzer will allow your site to get indexed.

abrilward answer is the best one. to index your blog fastly you have to do directory submission, search engine submission and after that you do link building.submit your blog daily up to 100 directories.then there is better chance of fast indexing your blog
If your Blog is New then It Will take Time to getting index While u Ping your Blogs In the Several Sites. U Can do the Social bookmarking for your blog.
Anyway Ping is just another way to get index but it doesnt mean that it would be index instantly. Anyway just try to update your blog often with fresh contents. Have you tried other methods like submitting articles and social bookmarking? I also have a blogger blog and it is not easy to index if its a new blog unless your promoting your blogs effectively
sometimes the blog not indexed for months so keep patience ...you can do one thing just go to your blog post and do some editing and update it...and then ping it....then wait for next 2-3 days your blog will be indexed....
