Do i or dont i

I have my blog set up on a sub-folder of my main domain

i would like to transfer it to its own domain but cant decide if i should do it and use a 301 redirect to direct the current links to the new website.

the issue i have is my blog recieves around 500 uniques a day and not all to the homepage so i would have to set up a 301 for every post on my blog

Do i do it or not

 

Can you not use Wordpress to update the .htaccess file to re-direct automatically to new post URLs?

the question really do i really need to redirect over 100 URL`s or do i just leave it where it is
