Hello, i have now hosting my site on shared server. I am getting average of 1300 visitors per day and the page view is around 6000-8000 per day.
I am using asp with mysql. Do i need to go for VPS.
Because my hosting company is not so good and the server fails frequently.
Also the number of sites on there server is going on increasing.
Is shared hosting is enough for me or do i want to go for VPS.

You webmasters please answer me, thanks for your time. :)

Either your webhosts' server is overloaded or your site is growing bigger than expected.. probably need to upgrade to VPS.

are you using ASP with MSSQL or mySQL?

I bet you need a windows vps?

Both VPS and Shared hosting has its Pros and Cons.

In shared hosting you won't need to bother about the initial server setup or any security issues in it. You just need to manage the accounts. But you will do not get the full freedom in shared hosting as everything is restricted.

In VPS, you need to start from initial server setup(Basic installation). If you opt for managed VPS that will come with an additional fee which will be high compared to the shared support. You need to secure the server periodically.

If your business is growing bigger then you can go for a VPS from a reliable provider.
