Do I need two seperate accounts for UK/US

    Hey

    I have just set up an affiliate marketing account with Amazon UK but I realise that the majority of my buyers are likely to be from the US... so what I am wondering is do I need a seperate account to advertise Amazon US or can I just link to the products on Amazon US with the same (UK) account? I will be reviewing goods through a blogger account and through a personal website.

    You need just one Amazon account but need to sign up separately to Amazon US, UK, Canada, Italy, Germany, etc.

    It's pretty much like using one Google account and use different services like Gmail, Reader, Calendar, Adsense, etc.

    Thanks. I've just been looking further into it and it looks like I need a US bank account to be able to withdraw funds if I use Amazon US so I'll stick with the British version for now and focus on the blog and website. If it goes well I'll look into Amazon US later this year as I am planning to move to Canada in November anyway :)

    You could/can choose gift certificates or cheque payments if you don't have a USA bank account.

    I think this question was asked here recently. But the answer is yes you need to signup with both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.

    You can receive a check from for your renevue.

    Nah, a cheque is no good as I am from the UK (have a UK bank account) but live in Thailand and I would need to be in the UK to cash it. I'll stick with the UK Amazon for now and see how I get on. Thanks for your replies.
