First of all my Paypal account is : Personal

I used to recieve most of my payments with checks. I am now recieving them on paypal. I am going to start requesting the money about once every month or two.

Will I encounter any problems if I leave it as Personal?

    I am talking about $1K a month

Do I need to upgrade my account?

    Thanks for your time

If you are running a business then go for business account else personal account is good but if you are getting more payment from paypal using CC then you need to upgrade it to premier as only 5 cc payments you can accept with personal account.

    DON.

I'd try to avoid fees as much as possible. So only upgrade when you absolutely have to.

If you really take serious on your business, then consider upgrade to Business account. Or at least Premier account. :)
