i recently bought a dedicated server and i bought it with Cpanel and its already installed on my sever and the company gave me a Cpanel link. and WHM login and password. but they never said anything about cpanel log in, its not my WHM login information and i dont see anywhere in my WHM control panel that i can change my cpanel information so is there a default cpanel log in or something?

I guess you have to create atleast a reseller from WHM...then create domains under it. Each domain would have cpanel logins then.

You'll need to create it via the 'create account' function.
I'd personally highly recommend against managing your own server with that little of experience though :/ It isn't all fun & games.

You dont need to do that for a domain. These are automatically added when you create a account or add a domain.

root cannot access cPanel. WHM can be accessible. You need to create account through th "Create a new account" feature in WHM.

yeah i did that my cpanel is up and running and now my nameservers are

what i said above, i contacted them and they let me use the dns1, dns2 defaults i guess thats what there called..

but i still can't add on domains on my new cpanel account. it gives me this error..

Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: 208.109.80.51,208.109.14.200 Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ip.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

i think i know what it means but how would i go about fixing it?

Whichever domains you are trying to add in your CPanel, you need to point it's DNS to your nameservers.

For example www.yoursite.com go to the registrar and put dns1.alphared.com
& dns2.alphared.com and then wait for propogation and then add it to your acocunt.
