Do i need to lose sleep over this??

Ok, I've been reading lots about people getting banned from adsense for "no reason whatsoever!" and it has got me a little concerned. I have a baby of a site- oildummy.com and I have received my first clicks within the last week. I have high hopes for the site, but I am frankly worried about these automated "scams" that people can possibly launch on you. Do i really need to worry? What are the chances?

Don't worry about it. There's always a reason. These people didn't comply with the Google AdSense TOS. Either that or something suspicious was going on with their account(click fraud) and they failed to report it.
    Your account, your responsibility.
Again, don't worry about it. There is ALWAYS a reason.

    Thanks Jerlene,

I can relax a bit now.

I also worried about my girlfriend at first. She had no idea about the TOS and wanted to help me make a bit more, and i'm like "NOOO!!!!" Don't even click on them once! LoL, probably being overly paranoid, but I want to do this right!

What if somebody hypothetically tried to take down another's site through click abuse, could their IP address be discounted or something, or will G just slap the ban down on you without reasoning?

    Thanks for the reply

Your girlfriend can click on your ads if you've never visited your sites from her computer. :)
As far as click bombing goes, as soon as you see a noticeable change, contact Google and let them know what's going on. They review everything. They log all IPs, etc.

Yeah.. Google detects everything. Know your site movements and pay you reasonably.

It would be best for her to not click your ads EVER.

When i was new i lost-sleep over everything.. but as long as you stick to the rules you should be ok.. If you havn't yet read all the rules you should stop whatever you're doing right now and read them. I have boiled down a lot of the important points 9for new Adsense users) and have links to both the TOS and Policies page in THIS POST ..

That's what I convinced her, that it is not worth the risk.

Anyway don't worry about that. I think somewhere mistakes had done with them or any click fraud with their account issues. They are unable to recognise the issues happened with them. Without any reason google will not ban
