Do I need to fill in company name and type for adsense IRS tax form W-9

    Hello,
    I have ads using google adsense on our cricket team webpage. I myself dont own a company but for tax purposes google asks that I fill in company name and type of company(partnership, corporation etc.) in the W-9 tax form. Do I need to fill this out or can i just give them my SS#. Without this info, I will not be paid by google adsense.

    Your SS# will work, but once you're over a few hundred a day, it's time to get an LLC. The money should be paid to the LLC, then transferred into your personal account the day after the post.
