Do I need to create another profile for my subdirectory?

mydomain.com is track by GA. if i create a subdirectory (mydomain.com/sub) do i need to create another profile for tracking. my subdirectory is use together with my WPMU.

my subdirectory is created for my blog using WPMU. How do i go about tracking my blog under the subdirectory with GA? can my main profile i.e. mydomain.com track mydomain/sub ?

any expert here to share some light?

 

As long as you have the Analytics code on every page, it will track it all in one account.

 

do i need to put the google verification file in the sub folder too?

I have created a new profile based on my main one. ... and then a subdirectory (e.g. /yourdir/) the filter will ONLY ... To be sure, 2 days ago, I created another profile where no filters are applied: I do get the data!
