when ever i promote a product i just go generate a hoplink from the product. then im finding out that people are hitting the order button but it seems like they either go away after they hit the order page or they never order.

    or...

do i have to confirm im a affiliate or something and my sales arn't being registerd?

After joining clickbank you dont need to do anything except sending visitors to your hoplinks.

You don't have to confirm anything. Make sure you use right hoplink.

To confirm, go at the bottom of order page and you should find your id in [affiliate=xxx] :)

It will take a while to seel your first product, but after a month or 2 9for me anyway) the sales will slowly start to trickle in.

Always do a test before you promote any product.

    1. Click on the Order button and see whether your affiliate ID is being shown at the bottom of ClickBank's payment page.

    2. If the landing page is a squeeze page, subscribe to the newsletter first and see what comes in the email. Squeeze pages are supposed to help you follow up in case the visitor don't buy on the first visit, but some vendors are scum and will use their own "affiliate" link in the emails and hence, stealing your commission.

    3. Also, I will probably avoid promoting vendors who don't clock their order link. If they are using the order link that ClickBank provides, then it is very evident what their ClickBank ID is. Guess what.... It's so much easier for the visitor to steal your commission. This is no secret because ClickBank is very well known and it's very easy to sign up for ClickBank. Who would'nt want a 50% discount on their purchase.

    4. If the product you mention in your post is in the internet marketing niche, then it's no surprise. Most likely the visitor had replaced your affiliate id with his own. Surprised... Your commission just got stolen. No offense meant... But, these are probably the reasons why you are not credited with the sale.

    Hope this helps.
