Do I need to buy an offshore domain name for my blogs?

Hello guys. I own a p*rn blog full of paying file hosting links with movies, clips stored on those "file hosters". I also want to make a music blog with mp3 also stored in those sites. Do I need to buy an offshore domain? thanks for the suggestions

 

what you may need is offshore hosting, however your domain can be registered pretty much anywhere your who is will still show you as you? unless you just happened to change it to something else???

 

I was thinking of registering my domain with netfirms because they're cheap and offer free privacy registration but I also heard netfirms can cancel your domain if they receive a complaint.

 

Yes, of course they can. and the privacy stuff does not protect you from governments and such. I think that most domain registrars will cancel your domain if they receive complaints especially from law enforcement, it is a risk you have to take if you want to go into the business you are. Just ask yourself, is it worth it?

No need AFAIK coz you don't host any content on your server.
What you need to take care is the hosting must be offshore to prevent any legal issue.

what do you mean by offshore domain? you can register a .com domain almost everywhere in the world. Some registrar offer countries level domains as well such as .uk, .jp, .cn, .in etc etc. It all depends on the registrar or hosting company.

 

I think he means going to a registrar based outside the us.
