Do I need permission to post themes?

    Do I need theme maker's permission to post blogger/wordpress themes on my blog?

    just listing out theme , not hosting the theme file....

    No, it should be fine as long as they are publicly available.

    I should think that as long as you credit the author/designer, you won't have any problems.

    As long as you give a link to where the wordpress theme came from, then you will be fine.
