    No you don't. You may need it to accept credit cards.

    I would start with a personal account if you can. The fees are much lower.

    You can process through a business account.

    I would recommend to get one. You limits are higher. You get a lot less grief on transactions, etc.

    Upgraded to Premier account. Seems like it is the lowest stage required to receive credit card payments...

    you are allowed to have a personal account and and 1 premier account, refer to paypal TOS

    Paypal will figure out is business and move you there and charge the higher fees.
