My blog is more than 6 months old. Now its getting good traffic. i wanna activate adsense for my blog. Do i need paypal account for adsense? or a normal bank account number is enough? If paypal is compulsory means, how do i create my paypal account? Is paypal account cration free?
You can get adsense setup with your bank account for direct deposit, this may depend on where you live though. Adsense should have an FAQ on their site, try looking there.
Just apply an account and nevermind about the payment option,,, the thing that you need to worry about is how to earn and not how to get earnings..

paypal doesn't have anything to do with adsense. besides, paypal is not available in all countries either. you can have an adsense account and can get paid by check or electronic fund transfer thru your bank
Google definitely not using paypal as paypal is a direct competitor with google shopping cart. I agree with an above poster who said the most important thing to do first is to just set up your account and start earning. Worry about getting paid later. Good luck'!
No you don't need paypal for google adsense as they don't sent money to paypal accounts for security reasons to protect their investores and also Paypal is a competitor to Google's Checkout so i don't think they will ever allow cashout via paypal.

As others have mentioned, paypal and adsense are not related and you can't use them in conjunction with one another (they are actually competing companies). As Nonny said, it sounds like you need to read the Adsense documentation, since if you don't you will likely quickly get banned. Read more, research more, and then make some money!
