    Dear all,

    We have a new website for millions of videos. Can anybody give me an advice do I need a sitemap for that? Our website is www.seedic.com. With so many content, how do I create a sitemap? Any tools available?

    Anyway, if your site contain millions of pages (videos) the sitemap can accelerate indexing by SE. Tool for quick generating different sitemaps: http://www.xml-sitemaps.com
    But In your case you must buy "Unlimited Sitemap Generator", because "Free Online Sitemap Generator" allow only 500 pages in sitemap's...

    you must use gsite crawler. its a advanced dot net tool ,
    which works like a google bot and produce a optimized sitemap which is suitable for google .

    and it has ftp access. to upload you sitemap

    If your site is big like over 10000 pages ,you should make a sitemap because you will start seing so many pages indexed in google

    i understand the importance of a site map on the google search. but i also heard that sitemaps should better be created automatically by google instead of manually with the Webmaster tools... is that true guys??

    Yes!!! google spider does not know about existing of your site!!!
    it is integral part of website

    of course, oyu can promote your site manually, but with a help of spider it will ba faster!

    But you maust not forgot about other (not Google) spiders!

    there are a lof of links that can help you create sitemap on-line xml-sitemaps.com

    But if old, then google will follow it automatically.

    there are many online tools available online to generate sitemaps such as http://www.xml-sitemaps.com.

    why do we need a site map?

    We are trying to say to the bot the criteria to crawl the website
    Trying to get crawl all the pages in the website

    this is in search engine point,

    when it comes to the user point, it becomes easy for the user to get to navigate thier desired page.
