Do I Need a PayPal Premier Business Account?

I am thinking about selling some domains in the Commercial Exchange forum here. I have a PayPal account, but the basic free kind. Will I need to upgrade it to a Business or Premier account to accept several small payments?

You will need to upgrade if you plan on accepting more than 5 credit card funded payments per month.

If you are just occassionally selling one or two items a year and not doing this for real income then the personal account is fine. Otherwise, you probably do better with a Premier or Business (if you have a business) account.

However, you are permitted to have 1 personal + 1 Premier or Business account so keep your personal account and you can get a premier account. The personal account has no fees for paypal to paypal transfer but there would be fees for each transaction through the premier/business account.

Make sure that if you do opt for a second account, you have an additional credit card and bank account to verify it.
