The more and more I research PPC affiliate marketing it seems like a landing page is a must. Anyone care to share their experience with this? Thanks, -Paul
You don't need one, but it's a good idea to have one. Depending on the offer, you can presale them the benefits, the whys, etc. before going on to the actual offer. Also make sure you check with each individual offer that you can direct link, so offers do not allow direct linking. It's you're own preference, I know people who do well with a LP and some that all they do is direct link. Test and try both methods, affiliate marketing is all about testing.
there are a lot of different varieties you can use, the 2 most common are ...content rich to get higher QS, or half fold page page with huge button to get them to click through your aff link. the Acai berry affiliates do these from their content placement ads, I know they spend a ton of cash so they must work...using website optimizer is your best bet if your techy enough to get it to work can do A/B split testing and multi-varient testing of landing pages...hope that helps
A landing page is not really a requirement, but for PPC Networks like adsense, where there is a bidding system that also checks the keyword weight on the destination url, it is wise to use such landing pages (some might call them doorway pages). Look at it as something beneficial and use it for your own good, but try to avoid keyword stuffing as much as you can. You can always check the keyword quality score as a guidance. All the best,
I agree with most of the responses above. One is NOT need or REQUIRED but what I have tested out is that one in the long run is the best. The way that i test out offers is. First direct link a few hundred clicks and if there are a few conversions then I'll build a landing page over the keyterms converting. Why waste time making a lp when it has to get changed! Find something working first.
That's a good one. If you also combine it with the Website Optimizer from Adwords it can become really powerful. When you learn your way around it, you will see which options are the best for you before you take a definite decision. All the best,
It really depends on the offer you are promoting. Something like a email submit probably is better off without a lander, while selling a physical product will probably require one. There's more to it than that, but it highly depends on your traffic source and offer that you're running.
landing page does increases the chances of conversion but its not that necessary if you have a good product then u will get conversions anyway
Landing pages add more appeal and in theory it increases your click thru rate. There are some methods tho that doesn't require any landling page and it works just a domain redirect will do.
I just use a real blog but i think if your landing page attractive then your traffic will convert really welll
If you plan to sue Adwords, and not only for fews days...then yes you will need a landing...Sure some people will tell you that you can direct linking to the merchand...but it's not safe, and more of that with a landing page ( depend of the type ) you could create value for your business....no matter if google slap you or if you promote an other merchand.
It's not a must, but but there are so many benefits to having one, that you should probably take the time to do so. Apart from preselling your prospects, usually you can get a better quality score which should save you money on your clicks. Sid
I just can say that It is a good idea. Anyways, you can hire any good pay per click advertising company
