    Hi there,

Hopefully someone can help me out with this one.

If you are adding additional query parameters to a URL, would you need to do a 301 redirect to keep the authority of my original URL.

    E.g.Original URL= http://www.whatever.com.au

After adding Query Params = http://www.whatever.com.au/&pagename=Page&c=DFYPage

    Should i do a 301 redirect from http://www.whatever.com.au to http://www.whatever.com.au/&pagename=Page&c=DFYPage ?

    Thanks.

As you add parameters to your url, it would be considered as a seperate and new url. So yes you should do a 301 redirect if the original no parameter url is no longer valid.
