Hi guys, here's my dilemma, i ahve a site urbanmonk.net, and I've built it up quite a bit over the months. Now, I have been trying to purchase urbanmonk.com, but its always been empty. Now I just found out that they are building a site for it as well. I don't want to lose visitors to .com, so I'm thinking of buying a whole new domain name.

The problem is, do I lose all the link juice? Is there any way I can have a brand new.com, for example urbansage.com or something, and still keep my urbanmonk.net links and other benefits (like technorati ranking), etc?

Use 301 to redirect the domain with links to the other one and you will be ok, 301 passes the link juice
