For advertising you need to pay first to google. you can sign in for free but you cannot start you campaigns. to validate your account you need to deposit some fixed amount to google.

Can you submit a campaign, wait to see if it will get Approved, THEN deposit funds?

Or they won't even approve the campaign until you deposit funds?

Signing on is nice and easy, pretty straight forward, but for Ads, that's when you gat to pay, I really am not sure ow it works, cos have not used it before, but there are stuffs like pay per click and pay per impression. You'd have to figure out which base on your goals.

They have pre pay or post pay. When you create an account, you have to make a small payment just to open it.

Then you're paying for every click on your ads, hence pay per click.

You can create your campaign for free but in order to display your add then you first need to pay some amount to google account with correct billing address and banking account.

When you open an adwords account, you need to put some money in it, once that money runs out, the ad campaigns will stop.

Correct, but is the ad going to be reviewed ONLY after funds are added to the account?

ie: You open an adwords account on December 1, create a new Ads... wait 3 weeks. Is that ad still pending review until you put money into the account? (don't care if the ad is going live or not, I'm talking about approval only).

Yes you must pay. It can become very expensive if you don't pay attention to it... I suggest really studying your keywords, make sure they are converting viewers into buyers. There may be some less competitive words that describe you or your product better than some of the more generic ones, and may not get as many clicks but may be more profitable. So keep an eye on those. Also check the competition!

First you need to pay to Google for advertising and setup a campaign then Google will advertise as per your selected options like date, networks to display.

Thanks. I have a bit of experience with Adwords... but wanted to clarify the funding since I need to open a new account and it would be safer to get the ads approved first.

You only pay when your ads get clicked on, you don't have to pay to get an account.
