Sure cPanel is convinient and all, but seriosly - it's not worthh $35 a month! Come on, how often do you do changes? How trouble some is it to learn another control panel, really? cPanel is also famous for eating up your resources, simplicity comes with a performance cost and most should question whether or not it's worth it. For myself, the answer is no, so I go with Direct Admin.
