    Where are you buying from?

I would say you don't need either. ID Protection is just Private Registration, which is nice, but not needed unless you want to keep your name private.

If you park the name the parking company will give you their Nameservers to fill up
If you want the name for normal development the webhosting company will do the same
ID protection it's up to you if you want to display or not your details to the whois query

No at this time, you do n’t need to buy DNS management service !

ID protection is just a service, that replaces the real contact information like name, street address and phone numbers from the public who is query database. So choice is yours. If you want to hide your contact details, you can opt for that.

Some registrars charge different prices for those two services and some do not.
So if you just have no idea or do n’t know how to use them, then go ahead and register the domain only.
Later always you can buy those extra services with additional costs as per required.

    Good luck ahead !:)

Managed DNS includes the A-records settings,Cname-records settings,MX settings and provides steps to register own domains with respective Ips.
So that you can either use any of these services as per need.Even many webhosts include free URL forwarding with this service.:D
