Do I have the best Ad Placement? = Now earning $12 a DAY

Hi there, i was just wondering if i had the best ads placement on the site. I've made some significant changes to the site, changed the design, layout etc and have made the site a lot cleaner than what it was before.

    The site is www.fifa13.com

I have a 300x250 sidebar image ad, 300x250 in side end of post ad, which is also an image ad, and one image and text ad just below nav bar

I made these changes yesterday and this has been the highest pay so far.

Is there anyway to improve the earning's per day, also the ctr, which also finished at 0.32%, total pageviews for that day = 6.3k

A lot of wordpress templates have one of there ads just below the title of there articles, you should try that as well.

If you could put either another ad or an ad-link after the 4th posting (if possible) and another one at the bottom of the page and monitor their performance through channels to see which one performs better, you should get a fair idea.

Where do you get your content from BTW?

Nice work. You can keep experimenting with ad placement to see if you can earn more -- otherwise just focus on drawing more traffic to your site.

Hi guys, thanks for the response, i've been putting the ads above the fold really and i've been advised to not put the ads next to the logo, instead under the nav bar for better ctr etc

Yes, i've put some ads inside the posts also.

@Pimpiii, the theme is a custom made one. thanks.

I can give you suggestion, try split testing on monthly basis because as ad-sense is a long term business than you try split test it on monthly basis than find out which month you made the most because everything depend on visitors and how visitors are coming and so on, there is no fixed CTR that you will make this much if you place your google adsense in so an so places.. everything is depends on split testing..

Personally, after many A/B tests I see 336x280 performing better (RPM) than 300x250, you should at least do a A/B testing for one week and then switch to 336x280 if you see the same result as me.
